4K Film Production can enter you project at any stage of production, whether you have an idea scribbled on a napkin or are ready to shoot next week. 4K Film adds value to your project creatively and efficiently.
Our preproduction stage is the most important area of producing video. This area facilitates everything from idea conception, storyboards, location scouting, finding talent, idea development and production scheduling. Here we work with the client to meet their needs and wants, establishing the most effective and time orientated way to shoot and print. Visualization of a project is what matters most. What you cover in pre-production saves you time and stress during production. 4K films Production cradles the pre-production process to ensure a smooth shoot and quality product.
During this brainstorming phase in pre-production, we meet with the clients and let them creatively flow. Seeing what is possible in what time frame. We work with the client developing ideas into scripts and turn those ideas to visual medium of storyboards. These storyboards become the blueprint for the shoot and are essential for a smooth shoot.
Pre-production is all about planning. Organization in a project is the key to a successful shoot. Let's face it, gear, talent and locations can be very expensive. We save time and money for clients by crossing the t’s and dotting the I’s before the sentence is done. We enjoy meeting the client and putting ideas into realization.
Production entails anything that would need to be recorded including video and sound. This stage is very small when compared to pre/post-production. Our pre-production stage is very strategic and systematic, which makes production easy and fun for our clients.
Producing video can be as simple as a room and one light to more elaborate set-ups involving cranes, multiple cameras and large groups of people. 4K covers the whole spectrum of production working with the client to achieve a visually interesting content-driven product.
Organizing a shoot can be hectic. Which is why 4K takes so much time in pre-production to ensure that on the day we can get the shots effectively. Production is really a small process of producing visual content but is defiantly the most interesting. We always enjoy having our clients on set and to be involved in the filmmaking process.
Filmmaking is a collaborative process which is why we value people and their ideas. During production new ideas can come up on the fly and we love to see what is possible in achieving the best in the least amount of time.
Post-production is normally the longest stage of producing video. It entails capturing what was shot in production to a digital media format (normally a computer). Here the video is complied with sounds recorded on location, sound effects, titles and graphics. Once completed, the project is then outputted to the desired media; web, DVD, broadcast or back to tape.
Making films and producing video is like a big puzzle, first you get all of the pieces in production and them you put them together in post. This is where sound, effects, shots and graphics all align to complete the project.
Once completed we can send the product to any media. Because we shoot at the resolution of 4K we can output to any current media, whether it'd be a 35mm Film Print, back to an HD master or the web. We hedge our competition by offering the highest resolution available and them being flexible for the output. We capture more information in production and thus have more options in post (explained). We also provide the client with high-resolution master, so in the future your output is covered.
